Grey Partridge (Perdix predix). These wonderful little birds are always such a pleasure to see. Their plumage has the most wonderful, subtle complexity. It is also extremely good camouflage! Often the loud clatter and whir of wings as a Grey Partridge explodes from cover is the first you know of them being nearby!
