White Tailed Eagles have been in the headlines over the last few years following their reintroduction to southern England by the Roy Dennis Foundation. There is a lot of fascinating information on their website - https://www.roydennis.org - well worth a look!

I certainly never thought there would be a chance of seeing one of these birds in the skies above east Kent but, they have passed over here several times and… I’m still yet to spot one! One day…!

The bird in this etching is one from the Hawk Conservancy Center in Wiltshire. Not a wild bird but, by far the best way for an artist to get very close to and spend time sketching a bird!
